Council Member Garodnick shows off the Upper East Side Eco Map, at the 92nd Street Greenmarket. The map — created by the local organization Upper Green Side — highlights the "greenest of the green" in restaurants, markets, recycling locations, dry cleaners and more, including community-supported agriculture projects and stores that sell low-VOC paint. Council Member Garodnick allocated funds for the creation of the map, which is available free throughout the community.
