Garodnick Stands Up for Rent-Stabilized Tenants
Council Member Garodnick submitted testimony to the New York City Rent Guidelines Board (RGB), asking that they protect the interests of rent-stabilized tenants.
"Despite an improving jobs number and small wage increases, there are some troubling indicators that reflect that New Yorkers are hard-pressed to afford rent increases," Garodnick said in his testimony.
